Welcome to Madness Editing Services.
We are a two-person team that offers you affordable editing services that cover both the content of the story itself and how it flows, as well as the language and grammar. More than just editing, we also offer a one-stop shop for all your additional needs to become an author, including ebook formatting, cover design, book blurbs, and a biography. And for that extra touch: flourishes.
We know what it’s like to start off as a writer: putting so much into your work, and knowing that you have something. At the same time, your worried that others may not see how good it is. The biggest mistake writers can make is choosing the wrong editor. You need one that will tell you the hard truth and is willing to point out where you need to improve your story. You also need a partner whose only mission is to help you improve your work and bring out your voice and tell your story.
More than that, you likely don’t have a lot of money to start with. There are a lot of editors out there. In fact, it is highly recommended that you get two editors. One editor gives you notes on how to improve, and you adjust your story as suggested. The second will take a look and give you a fresh perspective. In that process, you should have a great story to publish yourself or to send off to a publisher/agent.
As writers, we make for our own worst editor. It is hard for us to see our mistakes, as we know what it should say, often not seeing what it actually says. Even the greatest of writers need an editor.
At this time, we are taking submissions from writers to help improve their stories. It is our promise to give you top-quality editing so you can have the best story you can.
