Literary Terms – BIRG & CORF

This is a rather unique Literary term article, as it will make use of two terms rather than one. The reason is that both borrow from the same source but then divide from there. Rather than repeating information again, I will simply discuss both in this article.

Today we are tacking Basking in Reflected Glory (BIRG) and Cutting Off Reflected Failure (CORF).

When I originally did this article, I had given a great deal of research to this. Since that time, I have learned more as a writer and expand this article further.

False-Consensus Effect – A to Z Challenge, Literary Terms

FDay 6 of the A to Z challenge and it seems a pattern is emerging… these topics will go into great detail. Yesterday was another long topic that took Star Trek to the nth degree. It’s a lot to go through, admittedly, but very useful none-the-less.

Today hopefully won’t be too bad. We’ll be discussing False-Consensus Effect, which will go a long way in understanding people, especially in conjunction with many terms this month.

Red Herring & Retroactive Continuity — A-to-Z Blog Challenge, Literary Terms

RA rough few letters and in the past week, and I start a new week with a somewhat easy letter. It’s a nice load off my mind, considering that this week and next week will be the hardest part of the challenge. Just one day at a time.

From the messages I’ve received, my posts have helped people learn a lot and that makes me very proud, as my goal with this blog is to teach people.

The words today is Red Herring and Retroactive Continuity.
