Guest Blogging on J. Rose Allister’s blog [REPOST]

As writers, we need to support each other any ways we can, and one of the best ways is to post an article on someone elses blog. This article is about your equipment that you find in your story and an approach on how to write it in properly. You certainly don’t want to have Batman’s Utility Belt where you always have the solution, but at the same time you don’t want to constrict your writing that you are bound by what you write. Check it out.

A note, that while I do a variety of Sci-Fi and Fantasy, this blog is by an erotica author. The reason I chose to have a post here is that there are a lot of good articles on the craft of writing, and at the end of the day, writing is writing and the rules are crucial for all forms of writing. So check out my article and check out other articles on the site. There is a treasure of advice waiting for you to find.

Zero Approval Gambit & Zero-Sum Game — A-to-Z Blog Challenge, Literary Terms

ZThe end is now. We have finally come to the last letter. What a trip it has been. I made a challenge almost too difficult. It pushed my creativity to a whole new level. I feel like crying. OMG. I’m really more glad than anything else. While I am happy with the turnout, I am happy to bring my blog back to normal in May.

In this challenge, I’ve learned a lot. More than I thought I knew, and I helped many others learn as well. That’s the biggest compliment of all. I’ve also made some friends, many of whom I wish to know for a very long time.

Today is Zero Approval Gambit and Zero-Sum Game.

Unfettered & Unperson — A-to-Z Blog Challenge, Literary Terms

UAs much fun as this has been, I am ready to be done with this. Is there anyway for us to end the alphabet here? Stop it at U? Probably not since my name would then be Chris Uoteu. Plus, we’d lose out on X, and then how would we find porn in a video store?

Today we have Unfettered and Unperson. Weird terms, but then U is an unusual letter.

Always a shout out to my fans and their support, if you get a chance, click on their names or check out their websites to find out all the interesting things about them. They are quite wonderful people.

Self-Serving Bias & Stockholm Syndrome — A-to-Z Blog Challenge, Literary Terms

SHere we are at S. I’m running out of clever things to say. Maybe I am not as clever of a writer as I thought. We are nearing the end for the challenge, with only 8 letters left.

Today we tackle Self-Serving Bias and Stockholm Syndrome. Words you may have heard often, but like many other words, never thought of implementing them as literary terms.

Hard to think that after this month, I won’t hear from many of you. I certainly hope I do, but I will cherish these last few days as we complete the challenge.

A Writers VG Review: Batman Arkham Asylum/City

Thanks to humblebundle.com, I recently got to play Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.  I thoroughly enjoyed the games.  I just got done playing SWTOR for over 1 1/2 years and I really needed to get back to my roots.

I will admit now that I am not a DC fan.  Most of the characters I don’t really like.  I am more of a Marvel fan.  I’m sure there are some fanboys out there that will not like me for saying that, but Marvel Universe makes more sense to me.  Of the DC Universe, I sort of like Green Lantern, but I did have a love for Batman.  I will go over my discussion of Batman in a separate article.
