Today our friend Gerimi Burleigh joins us to share with us Graphic novels for Novelists. This is in reference to his interview I conducted, to where he made a passing remark about what would make good Graphic Novels for people like me who enjoy a good novel.
Check out his interview and be sure to take a look at his recommendations.
Welcome to another edition of the Worldbuilding series. I want to first want to apologize that it has taken me nearly a month to get this out. I am dealing with doctors and working on my disability and that always takes priority over anything else I’m doing right now. I am hoping to try to make up for it this month, but we’ll see what happens.
I’ve taken the last few weeks off from everything. In my IWSG post, I will explain more. But I wanted to do an article today, mostly for myself as a declaration. It is good to write down your plans, as it becomes a little bit more real when you put something from your head down on paper. It’s like giving a face to an idea that can stare back at you and remind you of what needs to be done.
So I want to make up for the lack of worldbuilding articles I’ve done. I always want to do more, and yet always fail to. With everything going on, I had to sacrifice those, but I intend to make it up this month, with the goal to have 3 articles this month. I think I’m about 6 more articles and I will be done with the map making portion.
I have a big project which I should be announcing on the 15th of this month. I am hoping this will be the element that is needed to move my career to the next step. I will be spending a lot of time working on that, as well as, start work on my next book. I say start work more as an ironic joke, as I have scenes written out for it, I just need a few things to glue those sections together and I have a good portion done.
I don’t know if I will be doing other types of articles this month. I’ll have to play it by ear honestly. I can promise you exciting times ahead.
Now is the time to announce the winners. Congratulations to all of you. I had hoped to have more people sign up, but I decided that instead of releasing 2 prizes, I would instead release 4 prizes. The winners listed below will have 1 week to send to submit in the form below so I can send them an email with their prizes. Please send me an email firstname.lastname@example.org
