Initially when I went to Comicon, I was going only to meet the novelists. After my first day there, I met the majority of them. I then realized, that if I only did that, the rest of my time there would be quite boring. So I decided to go see everyone. To my surprise, those who I thought were artists, were also authors themselves. There’s a lesson to be learned here, cast a wide net.
In doing so, one of the people I met was Gerimi Burleigh. Not only is he a great artist, but also a fantastic writer.

First off, I have to say that is the coolest spelling of Jeremy I’ve ever seen.
Gerimi is a writer, artist, and graphic designer. His day job is working in the toy industry, but when he hangs his hat up, he is busy working on comics.
In 2005, he co-created Alien Racers.
In 2009, he accomplished his dream by self-publishing a graphic novel, Eye of the Gods. I’ll let him give you a brief on that.
In 2013, he released a new series called Morningstar. As he explained to me, it is like the Magnificent Seven, led by Lucifer before his fall mentioned in the Bible. So basically a Bible Western.
I remember showing him my art work and he being impressed by what I could do. I remember be very impressed with what he could do as an artist. I wish I had his skill. I also found interest in his Morningstar series and maybe one day force myself to read a comic book, just so I can read his.
Gerimi, if you ever want to transform Morningstar into a novel, I would gladly help with that.
